You must be getting so excited now as we are to see you all. ELEVEN days to go . Cant believe that this part of our trip will soon be over. Only three more nites in Aussie.

LOOK OUT WORLD. HERE WE COME!
As part of our 45th Wedding Anniversary celebrations , June and I are blowing what seems to be a small fortune on a once in a lifetime trip around the world . We are calling it "Round the World in 40 Days", well its actually 43 but 40 sounded better. Staying in some 4 and 5 star Luxury Marriott Hotels , thanks to no2 son who has got us some amazing deals, we shall being flying close on 17,000 miles.
Stopping off in Singapore on the way to Sydney, We then drive something like 625 miles up the Austrailian Gold Coast, visiting our good friends Jean and Max in Tamborine Mountain near Brisbane.
Then flying up to Cairns we shall be sampling the wonders of
The Great Barrier Reef before flying back to Sydney enroute to Honolulu for a chill out on Waikiki Beach for 5 days.
And then onto San Francisco before flying to Orlando where we join Deanstours in a luxury Villa one mile from Disneyland. this will consist of 14 members of the family, friends and grandchildren for what promises to be an action packed funfilled fortnight in the Magic Kingdom.
Most of the hotels have internet facilities so Im hoping to update this blog from time to time.
After this is all over we shall no doubt need a holiday so if you can offer an all expences paid couple of weeks . Feel free to do so.

So what are plans for last 3 days in Oz? If you in Cairns we did a trip out to Green Island and Michealmas Cay which was amazing and would highly recommend it. Beautiful clear seas and great snorkelling. I saw rays and turtles out there. Must warn you that water is a bit choppy on the way over though!!!!
See if you can find somewhere that sells Hamilton Bay Bugs (I think they're called) as they are delicious and if you get chance go up to Yorkeys Knob.
But then you're probably somewhere else entirely!!!! Have a wonderful time and see you in 10 days or so
Are you insinuating that I talk too much Dick!! You would just have to have turned your hearing aid off!! Glad to hear that you had such a good time with Jean, Max and family. I don't have to ask if you are enjoying Cairns I'm sure you are. I can't believe your time in Oz is nearly over - it has flown by (no pun intended!) and I suppose the next time we hear from you will probably be Hawaii - sunning yourselves on the beach.
