G'DAY MATES

The last evening in Sydney was spent in Darling Harbour, which again was a heaving mass of humanity, well it was Saturday night. The street entertainers were amazin . We watched a young girl fold her legs round the back of her neck and put herself in a glass box the size of a goldfish tank - a small one , and then she got someone to shut the door.

Our car we picked up is a dream .Omega automatic A/c , Cruise Control, Sat Nav, tells me after 2 hours that I need a rest . All I have to do is steer. We had a bit of a nightmare when we came off the Pacific Highway for a cup of tea , decided to take the Tourist route back, got completely lost and ended up in the outback, no one to ask , no cars , when we did eventually find someone , we were going completely in the wrong direction. It took us another 2 hours to get to Port Macquarrie. Arrived finally at 8 pm last night.

Ive forgotten how to get photos on the blog .., I get the image screen up and then cant get thumbnails from camera to blog. Help.

Pity the Australian Sat Navs take you on walkabouts! Must have been a bit scary. What was Alice Springs like!!!
Have you seen any Koalas or Kangaroos yet? Sis

Ref. Photo Issue:

1)Within blogger click on 'add photo'
2)Find E:drive and drill right down until you get to the file names
3)use 'views' icon to change to thumbnails (looks like a colourful window pane)
4)select desired photo and click upload button within blogger

Good luck. Shaun

Hi both and G'day from New Zealand. You're doing the route that I did and it's wonderful. In Brisbane see if you can get to Noosa and the Sunshine Coast. Much nicer than the Gold Coast. Also see if you can get across to Stradbroke Island. Both about an hour or so from the city. You've picked the right time of year for Oz too. Not too hot but sunny, bet you'll be warm up in Cairns though.... Raffles is great isn't it!!!! See you in Florida in about 17 days.
