SYDNEY

It definatelywas the Long Bar at Raffles. The picture was taken in Chinatown.

Our last evening was spent at the Newton Hawker centre stalls where we enjoyed a delicious meal of blackpeppered crab, a traditional local dish, we picked out our live crab , before that a trip tothe Botanical Gardens. The Marriott Hotel was wonderful , Ive never slept in such a comfortable bed

Sydney , arrived late , not humid here, we managed to get a walk round the rocks finished up having a drink in an Irish pub.

Friday the Opera House tour, and in the evening went to the opera, what a fantastic experience!!

Tday being Sturday the harbour is heaving with people ,street entertainers and markets. Did a boat ride round the bay,

Tomorrow we pick up a car and head towards Brisbane along the Gold coast.

Hi Mum Dad. It's great to be able to keep track of what you're up to.
You seem to have settled in very quickly to Australia judging by your "tday" slip in your text, is that a cousin of "gday"??

We are all well. It has been really grey and dark this weekend. Got a few jobs done but we are beginning to mildly panick now about the fact that we fly to Orlando in 20 days and of course I am in Edinburgh for a week of that!!! Off bowling this afternoon (sunday).

I had a text from Dad saying that he was having a problem uploading photo's. Let me have a bit more info either via email or through the blog if you like and I'll try and help. You obviously managed it in Singapore.

Bye for now. Shaun xx
